Pangaea. Fact or Fiction?

I wanted to start this introduction by saying a few things. It's been quite a while since I have chosen to write a blog here so I just decided to do one on Pangaea. I will try to remain unbiased in the intro but I do have many words to say about my opinion on the theory. When people think about Pangaea, they often thing along the lines of uniformitarianism, giving them the outcome of millions of years. Others choose to deny the theory of Pangaea altogether, and yet others believe in Pangaea, but also in a God who created the universe six thousand years ago.
One might say, "How can such a process take only six thousand years to complete??". Well, it's a process that narrows down into less than two years according to the Bible. Nowhere near six thousand.
I was reading in the book of Genesis a few days ago and I just tried to focus hard on the first chapter. It talks about the creation in the first day, then the second day, but after that (verse 9) something hit me. Genesis 1:9 says,

Then God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear"; and it was so.

...let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into ONE place. This is what caused me to look back over it. If God gathered the water into one place, then wouldn't that mean that God brought up dry land into one place? Pangaea is a theory separate from Evolution, so I tried to find more evidence that maybe God and Pangaea are not opposites after all.
A few chapters later in the book of Genesis, Noah is commanded to build an ark from gopherwood, covered inside and out with pitch. The Bible doesn't say how long it took Noah to build the ark, but my opinion is that Noah entered it not long after it had been finished. Which would have been about one hundred years after he started building it.
In Chapter 6 of Genesis God says that He will bring all of the animals to Noah. Which begs the question, "How?". Well God is God and I won't begin to doubt His power, but I am one to believe that in this instance, God had the earth created in such a way so that this event, would be "possible". I use quotations because God does not need anything to be in His favor for His will to be done. God has the power to instantly bring the continents together if that was His decision. My point is, impossibilities do not limit God's power.
After God brought the animals to the ark, in my opinion, the flood waters came with such force that it tore the surface of the earth apart. That is why we see sections of earth miles and miles wide, flipped completely upside down. The most powerful force known to man on this planet is the force of water. Water can slice through solid rock, it can dig caverns, it's power is seemingly limitless.
When Noah got off of the ark, the animals were to populate the, now geographically changed earth. This poses many questions when you think that oceans now separate each continent by thousands of miles. If you look at the ocean floor, there are huge land bridges that just happen to span the distance to each continent. There are different theories of how God may have gotten the animals across those land bridges. One is that God caused the waters to recede below the land bridges so that the animals could cross. Then, He brought the water back up when they had all finished the journey. Another is that localized ice ages sucked enough of the volume of water so that the animals were able to cross.
Some people believe that the shift of land happened after the great dispersal, then God separated the people groups. This is also plausible I believe.
There is only one true theory, I cannot say which one is true, because the fact is... I don't know. I believe that Pangaea occurred through God's will. But we will only know when we are able to ask God Himself.

Small Debate Post

Hello everyone, I had started talking to someone again on youtube who sent me a message saying that God is not real, prove me wrong. So I messaged him and asked him a few questions, first of all why he had attacked my beliefs offensively as he had said other things. But I started a small debate with him and gained his respect (in conversation only I think) and so we messaged back and forth, this is one that I did some research for and I thought it would be good to put here on my blog. I hope you enjoy reading it, I took about an hour to bring it all together, so let me know what you think. Thanks!

Christianity (not in belief, but using the Bible as a source) does not condemn namely, it condemns all of us to an eternity in Hell. That may sound like an unreasonable thing. The answer is absolutely not. God did not create Hell to punish us at all, He created Hell to punish those who revolt against Him. God knew that Satan would try to take the top spot, assassinate the King to assume His role so to speak. Hell was to punish Satan and the angels that followed Him (better known as demons). God made the law that if anyone were to revolt against Him, then they were going to Hell, so that law didn't stop at Satan and the demons. Once man sinned (God knew they would) God said Ok, don't worry, I'm coming down. And God did come down and create a way for us to be saved from the punishment that we ourselves condemned ourselves to. It is not God's choice to send us there, we chose through our actions the place that we will end up. We all deserve an eternity in Hell as soon as we sin (anything that goes against God's law). We came into this world a sinful being, we rose up to sin, it cannot be helped because man in nature loves the darkness, he hates to be in the light lest his bad deeds will be found out. This is man, this is all of us.
The Bible is like no other book written in the world, ever. The Bible was written by 40 different authors as they were lead by the Holy Spirit to do so, the original scrolls that were written making up the Holy Bible, contained 3 different languages, (not written in 3 different language as if the whole Bible were written in those languages) parts of this original were Greek, other parts were Hebrew, and some of them were Aramaic. Not only that but it was written on 3 different continents. Even with all of this, I am not finished. The Bible was written over a the course of 1,500 years. One Thousand, five-hundred years. That is more than 30 generations. Most of the authors did not even have access to any other part of the Bible. We can prove this because the other parts of the Bible, being on other continents, being in different languages, and possibly not even written yet. Most of the scribes of the Bible were nobodies. King David was a shepherd when he became a king, he was not an educated man. These people who we know to have written the original scrolls that even historians do not deny, were not scholars and there is no way that they would have known the other 2 languages that the Bible had been or will be written in. Even after all of this I am not finished. So far we have: The Bible was written by 40 different authors, in 3 different languages, on 3 different continents, over the course of 1500 years, and here is the last part. All of those things are true, and yet the Bible fits together perfectly. Sure you can tell that there were different authors due to the writing style that each book contains. Each author has their own unique writing style. We can also prove that the Bible has not been edited or changed from the original scrolls because there are STILL some that have survived time. The book of Isaiah has survived.

Here is something to support that the Bible is reliable and consistent with the original scrolls written for it:

I think you see that well. Anyhow, not only all of what I said above, but the archaeology has been used to try to destroy the possibility plausibility of the Bible, yet when the Bible was used for archaeology, they found ancient civilizations using the Bible alone that they never would have guessed had existed. In the Bible there is a story including Lot and his wife. Lot is basically begging the Lord to spare the two cities if Lot would find a certain amount of righteous people within the two cities. The number he had to find was 10, only 10 people who were righteous. He could not find even 10, so the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah (the two city's names) with fire and brimstone. When searching out the exact location of these cities, they have found them, not only this, but they have found that, surrounding each city, is a perfect circle of glass, charred ground, and sulfur pellets EVERYWHERE. Because the cities were located in a sandy area, that explains the glass, when the fire hit the sand, it became glass, also, the "fire" that the verse talks about explains the charred ground. Not only this, but they can PROVE that the two cities were burned from the top, down. Through archaeology, they saw that the destruction was about 3 feet thick in the ground, and that both of the cities were destroyed at the exact same time. I quote to back up what I said before. "Archaeologists found that buildings used to bury the dead were burned by a fire that started on the roof."
Also one more thing, the "fire and brimstone" talked about in that verse... we found the evidence for the fire, though we have yet to find the brimstone. What is brimstone? Sulfur is the modern name for brimstone that which they were talking about in the verse. Like I said before, there were millions of sulfur pellets everywhere. Archaeologists found them every few inches, they were everywhere. When they took it to a lab to test its concentration. Sulfur in it's normal form is 40-45% pure. This sulfur was 98% pure sulfur with a trace of magnesium. Not only that, this is the only place on earth were sulfur of that consistency exists. Thats a fact. This is just one of many examples of the truth in the Bible... not only this but impossible truths that could not have been known... unless, someone who did, stepped in and revealed the truth to people who wrote it down. Who I like to call, God.

Christmas Program

For the past few months, our entire church choir and orchestra (including myself) had been practicing for one of the biggest concerts of the year. Every concert takes a lot of time to practice for but is always over in a jiffy. We had the privilege of reaching out and playing at the Brethren Home and that was a great experience. Haha, didn't see any of this that I'm about to tell you about but I found it so funny so I figured that I would share it.
One of the members in our choir said that it was so easy to smile (as one should in a choir) because of the people in the audience. She said that one of the people had both of there hands over their ears like they couldn't stand it or didn't want to hear the Christmas message. Some of them were sleeping. It was just something that made me laugh a little.
This concert was my first ever while in the orchestra and I had a great time playing in it. I can't believe that it went by that quickly but I think I say that every year. It's the truth. Now we will start practicing in the near future for the Easter Musical, which is easily Calvary Bible Church's biggest musical of the year. One year (if not more than one year) they brought in animals for the play. It was so cool, I can't wait to see what they will be doing this year with the choir.
Well, as to not bunny trail too far away from the subject of this post, I think I will end it here. I have an idea for my next post but we will see when I get around to it seeing how long it had been since I wrote the post before this. Thank you all for reading. This was more of an "update type" message. I hope to have messages in the future talking about things that I am learning about God's word. The more I talk with people who believe some pretty odd things, the more I look into it and really dig deeper. I will not get into any of it here in this message, but I just wanted to let you know what to expect in the future.

Thanks again,
Daniel Fabrick

Discoveries

Hello, I figured I'd do something a little different and maybe tell about some things that I realized when I was on vacation in California. God really used that vacation to expand my knowledge in the area of standing up for creation and showing other people how evolution is not the answer.
It all started when we went to Sequoia National Park... just inside the park is the main office. Within those walls I read about stuff that had been scientifically tested and proven. The main part that sent me running for a piece of paper and pencil was the fact that these trees CANNOT grow unless the elevation is between 5,000 and 7,500 feet. This is because anywhere below 5,000 feet there is too warm, and anywhere above 7,500 feet is too dry. The conditions must be perfect in order for them to survive. If you look at just that you say... that doesn't really mean anything, so I'll get to that in a second. I've been in a few arguments with evolutionists where I have told them that there is worldwide evidence for a worldwide flood. This lies in the fact that there are marine fossils all over the earth, even on the highest mountaintops. I found this interesting because they would always refute that by saying that all mountains started from underwater anyways and over millions of years they grew to what they are now. Well... even though this isn't a part of my argument against them, they failed to account for the marine fossils on mountains that were formed by erosion. I won't go there though.
So the Sequoia trees can only grow between 5,000 and 7,500 feet because it is the only growing environment. Another cool thing I found out is that these trees could not have existed over 5,000 years ago because of environmental differences. They require perfect climate and otherwise perfect growing conditions, or they cannot grow. Disregarding the 5,000 year limit, it would prove that either the mountains would have to have been there forever in order for even the existence of these trees. Either this or they would say that these trees evolved at just the right time so that they could grow at the climate they are at right now. If they were to say this then proving plant evolution wrong is not such a hard feat. Flowering plants (according to evolutionists) evolved into existence about 370 million years ago. Bees on the other hand are millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions of years different. We all know that without bees, flowers cannot survive because there is nothing to transport the pollen, and vise versa. So there is no possible way that the trees evolved, they just require so many things for existence that evolution would completely deny them.
If they go the other way and say that those mountains would have had to have been there forever. You can easily go right back to the marine fossils. If there are marine fossils everywhere on the face of the earth, and they are saying that the mountains were always that high, do the two contradict? Not necessarily... what do we know happened about 5,000 years ago due to the earth being filled with wickedness? God told Noah that there would be a flood, and it would destroy all of mankind... but Noah and his family were spared. What do we know about the earth before the flood? The Bible tells us that God divided the waters and put one part in the heavens, and the other part under the firmament. We also know that the description of the flood tells us that water came down from the sky, and the deep opened up and water gushed forth. If there was a layer of water in the sky, it would create a perfect greenhouse for all plant life, thus solving the problem of the Sequoia trees not being able to live over 5,000 years ago. It was during the flood where the plate tectonics rose mountains. Earth was moved and torn up and deposited different places. In quick reference to that point, evolutionists use rock layers quite a bit to show how old the earth is. They've actually found sections of the earth where for miles around, the rock layers are completely upside down. Which proves a massive upheaval of earth. What do we know as the most powerful substance on the earth. It is water. Water tears through rock like a warm knife through butter. I think you get the point.
The mountains could have easily been risen in a month, which is how long we know the water came down from the sky and up from the ground. After the flood, that greenhouse created by the layer of water in the sky was gone... and the mountains created by the flood, then became the only place where these trees could survive. Thus proving the flood as described by the Bible to be correct, as well as the fact that mountains do not take millions and millions of years to arise. I'm sure it could prove scads of other things wrong as well but I won't get into all of that at this time.
Evolution was created as a means to ignore God's guidance. We live in a world that lives for themselves, a world that wants to do what they want to do. If they knew that there was a God, or believed in God, they would be forced to be accountable for their actions. That is the last thing they want. So they run from the truth... or are taught lies from their childhood to where those lies are embedded eternally in their head on this earth. Why do we have religions today? The simple answer is that people know they are missing something, religions arise due to people in search of that something. God is what they search for... but they just don't know it yet. Will you help them find what they are looking for? We are commanded by God to spread His word. We can best do this by being like God, by showing His abundant love... causing people to see that we are different, and that we have something, and to want what we have.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this, it is definitely something I wanted to share with everyone, no matter how many people will read this... whether it is just 1, or 10, or any number... it will have all been worth it. Hope you all have a great day. Until next time... I'll see you later.

Update

So, you may have noticed that this is my first post in quite a while.... I'm sorry about that. I had actually forgotten I even had a blog until a few weeks ago and then again until today. I'm going to update you all (even though all 3 of my followers are completely aware of most of this stuff).
About a month and a half ago, I went with my family on vacation to California, there we got to do a bunch of cool stuff including: Visiting with our cousins, exploring LA, going to Yosemite and Sequoia National Parks, driving to San Francisco, touring Alcatraz, then going to Hearst Castle, and back down the coast to spend the last week with our cousins again. In that last week we went to a bunch of car museums, a plane 'museum', Warner Bros. Studio where we got to see the sets for many shows and movies. Also where we met the star of the tv show "Chuck". We arrived back in PA on the 10th of September from that trip.
Up until this past week I was doing nothing really but school, work, and play. (Gotta love playing) Anyways.... On the 6th of this month (October), I had the privilege to go to Washington state with a friend of mine to visit with his cousins and our friends. That was the best week of my entire life. We stayed with his cousins at their house for the time we were there and I easily made friends with their whole family, all 9 of them (if you can include the baby). I had never met any of them in my life actually for real, but somehow I felt like I had known them all for quite some time. I was also able to meet a friend who's friendship started out as a couple messages on youtube, then continued to Facebook, and I was able to meet her for real in Washington, along with her sister and family. It was a miracle at the least, and a great blessing. We got back from Washington on the 13th.
Anyways... I have got to move on now. I have a big week ahead of me which I will have to talk about some other time. Take care all.

Paintball

Hello Once Again,

I almost forgot to tell you about me going paintball last Friday night. It was amazing. The new field that we made is pretty much awesome. It was funny though I thought because I didn't really do much the whole day, and our team was like dominating. We played 4 games total, I was on that team for 3 of those 4 games. We won all 3. Then I was switched to the other team. I must be like a good luck charm cause when I switched teams, the team I switched to dominated completely. In that game I did get the winning kill though so that was exciting. There was about 18 of us there total (give or take a couple people). Maybe next time I will get a few more kills. The last shot was pretty nice though because I shot one paintball, it went right through the little crack I could see him behind, and it hit him pretty good too. Sorry, I just can't get over how awesome that shot was... of mine... haha, I'm just kidding. Anyways. That was a great day, I had lots of fun. See you all later...

Oh and by the way, I wrote this I guess to make up for the lost days that I wasn't on and updating! Hope you enjoy reading them.

Music Update

Hello There,

Haven't been on here for a couple of days so I thought I'd update you on some stuff, and the topic happens to be my music.
I have been working on quite a few compositions lately and they have all been going pretty smoothly, the only thing is, I have 10 of them going at once, which really makes things hard. Especially when you are doing at most, 3 instruments (including vocals into the instrument list) Most of them do not have vocals, yet I hope to write some for each song. It's a difficult task but I'm up to it. I have been working on 2 mostly, one is entitled 'Blinded', and the other is titled 'I Believe' of course you do know the apostrophe is not a part of the title lol... right?
Anyways thats the most of what I have going on right now. So I guess I'll leave you with that. Thanks for reading, take care. See you next time.
